Resource Fair: 5:30pm
Rally: 6:00pm

The resource fair will open at 5:00pm with information tables staffed by our co-sponsors. The resource fair will continue throughout the Rally to provide information about the crucial services offered in our community. Confirmed participants include: the Sacramento Native American Health Center My Sister’s House, WEAVE, Victims of Crime Resource Center, the League of Women Voters of Sacramento County, V-Day Sacramento with more to come.  Interested in becoming a co-sponsor?  More information here.

The Rally will kick-off at 6pm and include a survivor speak-out, dynamic speakers on the topic of violence against women, dance, spoken word, music, and culminating with Sacramento Taiko Dan. List of performers to come.

At 8pm we will take to the streets in protest- a tradition that has been held in Sacramento since 1979!

We’re also excited to unveil this year’s flyer image created by local artist Kara Schunk.  Kara has donated her artwork to V-Day Sacramento two years in a row in addition to creating the flyer image for this year’s Rally and we are very grateful to her!
