Join us as we take to the streets for the 36th Annual Sacramento Women Take Back the Night!

The 2015 Rally and March will be an evening of remembrance, activism and action to end all forms of violence and oppression against women and children!

When: October 10th (Second Saturday)
Start Time: 5:00pm | March through Midtown: 8:00pm
Location: Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc.- 2020 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95814

This is a FREE event – open to anyone interested in taking a stand to end violence, sexism, and inequality against women and other marginalized communities.

The Resource Fair will kick-off the evening at 5:00pm with information and resource tables staffed by our local co-
sponsors, including Community Against Sexual Harm, Gender Health Center and WEAVE, and will continue throughout the Rally to provide information about the crucial services offered in our community.

Beginning at 5:30pm we have an incredible Rally line-up – featuring: music by Veins to Wires and Erica Ambrin | Remarks and emceeing by Keyko Torres | Performances by Danzantes (Aztec blessing and dance), Jenny Davison and Calla Gilligan (spoken word)| Featured Speakers: Kate Towson (violence against homeless women), Fatima Garcia (violence against women in the fields), Kristen DiAngelo (sex work and sex trafficking), Sage Fox (violence against transgender women), and Chief Caleen Sisk (violence against Native American women) | Survivor Speak-out | Community Art Projects and more!

At 8pm we will take to the streets in protest – a tradition that has taken place in Sacramento since 1979!

Come out, bring your friends and family for an incredible night of activism, energy, and commitment to end all forms of violence and oppression against women and other marginalized communities!
