V-Day Sacramento

V-Day is a global activist movement to end violence against women and girls. Through V-Day campaigns, local volunteers and college students produce annual benefit performances of The Vagina Monologues to raise awareness and funds for anti-violence groups within their own communities.

Women’s March Sacramento

In January 2022, Sacramento Take Back the Night (SacTBTN) and Women’s March Sacramento released a joint statement about Sacramento Take Back the Night creating a community-led movement to end gender-based violence and advocate for the needs of our community. SacTBTN will facilitate a community-led planning process that will determine the next steps for the Women’s March advocacy project and platform in Sacramento.
